COMPANY
My client is a global manufacturer operating across a wide range of industry sectors. Their range of highly accurate instrumentation is relied upon in the mechanical engineering / machining industry.
Due to further expansion of their business they now wish to recruit a Product Manager to join their team.
POSITION
This position will require the successful candidate to act as the product champion for the business.
Other duties will include:-
- Successful management of your assigned product category.
- Developing my clients brand to improve product awareness.
- Keeping in close contact with the design, development and production teams to ensure product quality.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved by working efficiently to deliver a fast and effective resolution to any issues.
- Working closely with the sales teams to ensure adequate market penetration.
- Attending in house training in order to develop a high level of technical expertise across my client’s product range.
- Providing equipment expertise, advice, training and assistance to customers.
- Building long term customer relationships with oversees partners and subsidiaries
- Attending trade shows and conducting product demonstrations.
PERSON
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of instrumentation, measurement technology, gauges and other metrology solutions and be willing to undergo relevant product training on my client’s equipment and systems.
Previous experience working as a Product Manager, Product Specialist, Product Champion or within Pre-sales Support would be highly advantageous.

- Excellent work ethic and the ability to operate autonomously.
- An enthusiastic and confident communicator.
- Willingness to travel and spend nights away from home, this could include occasional international travel when needed.
- A well organised, self-motivated and approachable personality.
- Full UK Driving Licence
