About The Role
Reporting to the Directors you will be:
- Taking control of various upgrades and overseeing installation works at client manufacturing sites, managing both the internal engineering team and external contractors.
- Handling relocation projects, ensuring disruption to production is minimised and remains active where possible.
- Liaising with the sales team, design team and software team to ensure projects remain on track and are delivered within project deadlines.
- Handling the site extension and new production line installation.
- Managing, overseeing and coordinating new production line installations and upgrades.
- Managing client contracts and project budgets.
- Commissioning projects with an average value of £1M.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, managing the upgrade, installation, and commissioning of projects within factory automation (conveyors, robotics, etc).
While a Mechanical Engineering education or Project Management qualification is beneficial, it’s not essential, however, a strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex technical solutions are a must.
You will be a self-motivated individual who is methodical, structured, and process-driven to succeed in this role.
You should be able to work independently, but also thrive as part of a team. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
This role will also require a Full UK Driving License.
