About The Role
As a Logistics Administrator, you will support both the Warehouse and Logistics Manager with all supply chain procedures.
After the completion of your induction and product training you will be responsible for:
- Consistently reviewing and maintaining customs clearance data.
- Reviewing and updating freight invoices.
- Supporting colleagues with inbound and outbound freight requirements.
- Inventory Management.
- Materials Management.
- Monitoring and maintaining purchase orders.
- Reporting any issues to senior management.
About You
It is essential you have experience in a similar logistics position within an engineering/warehouse environment.
You will require good knowledge of CRM systems such as SAP, Microsoft packages and other external Freight systems. It will also be advantageous if you have prior knowledge of Postponed VAT and Duty Deferment, but this is not essential and can be trained.
To fit this profile, you will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, offer great communication skills and can retain technical information. Due to the nature of the role, it is also essential you have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
Other key skills include:
- Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook & CRM.
- Experienced working as part of a team & on own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills.
