  • £50K – £60K Basic (starting salary dependent on experience)

As the Sales Executive / Sales Consultant / Sales Manager, you will cover the South of the UK with a focus on the Southeast and be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team of 4 sales professionals across the UK.
  • Spending approximately 4 days per week meeting clients (face to face and virtually) with 1 day per week working from home focused on admin.
  • Covering the South of the UK, your area will span southwards of Milton Keynes, including South Wales and the Southeast. However, 95% of your time will be spent in and around London and the Home Counties. 
  • Managing and growing a multimillion-pound territory.
  • Operating to a 35% Account Management and 65% New Business role.
  • Identifying and sourcing leads whilst taking advantage of the leads generated by internal resources.
  • Assessing and understanding clients’ requirements to allow you to specify the best solution.
  • Selling a wide range of industry equipment to Lift Contractors, Specifiers, Local Authorities, Consultants and Health & Education authorities.
  • Spending time away from home when needed (maximum 4-5 days per month).

It’s essential that you have working knowledge in the Lift / Elevator sector (minimum 2 years+), with a technical understanding of how they operate, alongside the necessary rules and regulations.

You must be comfortable reading lift specifications and be able to specify solutions best suited to clients’ needs.

Personal attributes needed include professionalism, organisation, and self-discipline with the communication skills and personality to build lasting relationships with clients.

It is essential you’re based in the Southeast within a countable distance of London and possess a Full Driving License.

  • Comfortable liaising with professionals from shopfloor Engineers to Managing Directors.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Outgoing and resilient.
  • Ability to adapt and learn.
  • A consultative and specification-led sales approach.
