They’re looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer, to research the HVACR Industry and support my client’s business activities in line with Environmental Legislation compliance.

About The Role
As a Compliance Engineer, you will initially operate from my client’s West London office before moving to a 2-day home / 3-days office arrangement, once fully operational.
After the completion of your induction and product training you will be responsible for:
- Developing an extensive understanding of my client’s product range and services.
- Researching EU and UK Regulations (in relation to HVACR and wider regulations).
- Supporting my client in conducting business activities, in line with Environmental Legislation compliance.
- Liaising with distributors, implementing relevant EU / UK Legislation.
- Cooperating with relevant Associations.
- Attending and reporting to ER Commissions / UK Government Stakeholders.
- Technical support to business partners and distributors, registering my clients’ products for Product Certifications.
- International travel around Europe (once or twice per year).
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date CRM.
About You
It is essential that you have a great overall understanding of the Environmental Legislation process, especially on Ecodesign Regulations.
You must have the capacity to summarise and report the main relevant points affecting business on lobbying activities discussions within Associations.
You should have a great understanding of the technical language used in Regulations & Directive, with the capacity to translate into an easy to understand language when reporting.
The ideal candidate will also have a good capacity to interact with Competitors within the Associations, in compliance with Competition Law.
Fluent in a second EU language would be preferred (preference to French, German, Spanish and Dutch).
The ideal candidate must be very precise and attentive to details (in order to manage FGas Portals and Databases).
A Full UK Driving License is essential. Other key skills include:
- Great prioritisation and problem-solving skills
- Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook & CRM.
- Experienced working as part of a team & using your own initiative.
- The ability to build & maintain trusting relationships.
