<p>Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the management of multiple projects. Typical duties will involve supporting the Project Manager in:-</p>

<li>Arranging and attending various project meetings including – Bid Clarification, Sales Order Handover, Supply &amp; Production, Kick Off etc.</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining a project action and risk register</li>
<li>Monitoring both internal and supplier agreements to ensure due dates are achieved</li>
<li>Preparing and submitting variation orders</li>
<li>Delivering to client expectations whilst minimising business risk and costs, taking opportunities to improve project profitability while maintaining and developing customer relations</li>
<li>Ensuring projects meet internal and client expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery time and strategy.</li>
<li>Identifying, tracking, managing and mitigating risk. Escalating any issues when necessary to ensure there is minimal impact on the project.</li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="font-family: Arial;">PERSON</span></h2>
<p>To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will ideally have a HNC, HND or Degree within Mechanical Engineering or an affiliated discipline.  However my client is willing to consider candidates without qualifications, if they can demonstrate a proven track record operating in a similar role within the engineering sector.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will possess Project Management / Project Support experience and be comfortable meeting service delivery targets, controlling a budget, preparing tender documents, bill of quantities and estimates.</p>

<p>As an important member of the engineering team you will be responsible for:-</p>

<li>Producing practical CAD drawings and designs within strict deadlines</li>

<p>The successful candidate <strong>MUST</strong> have a degree in Engineering and be familiar with mechanical engineering principles and design calculations.</p>
<p>You must have a minimum of 2 years proven experience in a Design Engineering role, possess clear communication skills and be comfortable using 3D CAD Software.</p>
<p>Any experience using SolidWorks would be highly beneficial, but not essential.</p>
