<p>As a Manufacturing Engineer you will work in a machine shop environment and be responsible for,</p>
<ul>
<li>The maintenance of the master tooling database as new cutting practices and fixturing methods are implemented within the business</li>
<li>Providing support and advice within the department on machining activities including the introduction of new methods of production</li>
<li>Using EdgeCam software to ensure new strategies are created to allow optimal programming speeds</li>
<li>Ensuring that cutting data associated with machines is updated to enable optimal cycle times.</li>
<li>Ensuring all new fixturing is modelled correctly and applied to the machines within Vericut.</li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="font-family: Arial;">PERSON</span></h2>
<p>The successful candidate <strong>MUST</strong> have experience working in a machine shop environment and possess knowledge of machine tooling types and their application.</p>
<p>You will also have a practical approach to problem solving and introducing change within a production and manufacuring environment.</p>
<p>It is essential you have a minimum of ONC, BTEC, HNC or Time Served Apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline.</p>
<p>Any experience of Vericut or EdgeCam would be beneficial but not essential.</p>

<p>Ideally you will have past success selling to OEM’s and End Users and be comfortable in a National role which will include travel across the UK, Ireland and on occasions throughout Europe.</p>
